Detail

What Upstat is

Incident response is commonly assembled from disparate tools that operate in isolation. A monitor triggers an alert in one service, a page dispatches through another, the incident is tracked in a third, and updates are posted to customers via a fourth. Each boundary between these tools causes lost context and wasted time during active outages.

Upstat brings synthetic monitoring (HTTP, TCP, and heartbeat checks), on-call scheduling with escalation policies, incident management, automated runbooks, service catalogs with dependency mapping, and public status pages into a single platform. Alerts retain their originating check, associated service, on-call owner, and operational history throughout the incident lifecycle.

Upstat is currently in active pre-release development, with early access opening soon for DevOps engineers, SREs, and engineering teams seeking an integrated incident management workflow without the complexity of disconnected legacy toolchains.
